Escursione: l'area di Valdiporro: una delle prime aree colonizzate dai Cimbri

The Valdiporro area: one of the first areas settled by the Cimbri west of Vajo Sqaranto with localities, signs of faith, human adventures.

Meeting at 8:30 a.m., south side of Scandola furniture store (about 350 m south of Piazzetta Alpini - Santa Margherita)

Departure at 8:40 a.m. on foot towards the locality of Comperli; followed by the locality of Taddetta, then Dosso, Valdiporro, Grobberi, and Valdiporro (packed lunch). Then we will reach the locality of Foi and the small church of San Marco, Valdiporro, then Cenise with a visit to the Gasapri family Locality Museum, then return.

It is recommended that each participant bring their own lunch and water, wear mountain footwear and clothing, and possibly an umbrella or raincoat.

Overall elevation gain of the uphill sections 230 meters

Note: In case of uncertain weather or excessive temperatures, the hike program may be modified.

Participation is open to non-CAI members as well, who, however, will not be able to benefit from the insurance coverage included with CAI membership.
