The Roman Theater shines a spotlight on the 77th edition of the Verona Theater Summer, which confirms and seals the indissoluble bond between music, theater, and dance.

The 2025 season, featuring a high-level lineup, represents the first edition of a new three-year project inspired by the essential elements of our planet: water, earth, air.

It begins with the element “water”, a symbol of transformation, dreams, and contamination: the common thread of a season that once again intertwines Shakespeare, music, dance, and great interpreters from both the Italian and international stages.

Festival venues will include the historic seat of the Roman Theater, the Piazzale di Santa Marta, the Park of Santa Toscana, Forte Gisella, and the Teatro Nuovo.

Musical fusions in 10 events from Europe and around the world with the major figures of the artistic scene.
Great anticipation for the encounter with "wonder" thanks to “Pimpa, the Musical with Dots”; and for Marco Paolini's "Hydric Bestiary," which also aims to draw attention to environmental emergencies from the stage.

Among the novelties is the “Planet Shakespeare Academy,” an international project dedicated to young people: training, dialogue, and exchange on theatrical visions and practices and on the perception of Shakespeare's texts with European academies from France, the United Kingdom, Serbia, and Macedonia, along with Verona's students and new actors.
