The Roman Theatre shines the spotlight on the 78th edition of the Veronese Theatre Summer, which confirms and seals the indissoluble union between music, theatre, and dance.

The program is divided into thematic sections that guide the audience through a true experiential journey: the Shakespearean Festival; the Grand Soirées; the Classical; the International Dance; New Orbits/Youth; the Musical Contaminations; and finally, the Constellations, which bring together arts, spaces, and communities.

The Veronese Theatre Summer 2026 continues the thematic path on the states of matter initiated in 2025, dedicated to water, adopting Earth as the new conceptual fulcrum.

The title (H)Earth of Glass encapsulates its complexity: the earth as a living and fragile matter, a cultural landscape and an identity root, but also a symbolic figure — Gaia, the primordial mother and archetype of fertility, care, and regeneration.

The theme of Earth has enabled the definition of a system of correspondences capable of providing coherence and direction to the programming of the festival's various sections, which encompasses high-quality performances, key figures from the national and international theatre scene, and strongly innovative choices.

The Roman Theatre confirms itself as the beating heart of the festival, from which performances radiate that transform Verona into a shared and traversable space, a cultural landscape in continuous motion.
