The Roman Theatre shines the spotlight on the 78th edition of the Veronese Theatre Summer, which confirms and seals the indissoluble bond between music, theatre, and dance.

The program is divided into thematic sections that accompany the spectator along an authentic experiential journey: the Shakespeare Festival; the Grand Soirée; the Classical; the International Dance; New Orbits/Youth; the Musical Contaminations; and finally the Constellations, which create a dialogue between arts, spaces, and communities.

The Veronese Theatre Summer 2026 continues the thematic journey on the states of matter initiated in 2025, dedicated to water, adopting Earth as the new conceptual core.
The title (H)Earth of Glass reflects its complexity: the earth as a living and fragile material, cultural landscape and identity root, but also a symbolic figure — Gaia, the original mother and archetype of fertility, care, and regeneration.
The theme of the Earth has allowed for the definition of a system of correspondences capable of providing coherence and direction to the programming of the different sections of the festival, which consists of high-quality performances, leading figures from the national and international theatrical scene, and strongly innovative choices.

The Roman Theatre confirms itself as the beating heart of the festival, from which performances radiate, transforming Verona into a shared and traversable space, a cultural landscape in constant movement.
