A day in prehistory
In the afternoon (3:00-6:00 p.m.), demonstrations and educational activities for children and teenagers (but also for curious adults). Experimental archaeology experts from the Camposilvano Geopaleontological Museum Association will bring to life some of the daily activities that took place in a prehistoric village: from lighting a fire to archery, from working with flint to weaving wool on the loom.
Guided tours of the Archaeological Museum for adults and children will be available, led by the curator.
The event will be held in the area in front of the Santa Maria Maddalena Auditorium (Via Roma 35). In case of rain, it will still be held inside the Auditorium.
A night with Catullus: not just kisses
In the evening, the Museum remains open from 7:30 pm to 11 pm with guided tours led by the curator at 8 pm and 10 pm.
At 9 pm in the Auditorium of Santa Maria Maddalena there will be a meeting dedicated to Catullus, a Veronese poet of love (but not only), with a reading of some of his poems. The writer Giuliana Borghesani, author of the book Catullus. A story in the Roman republican world, will speak.
Participation is free for all activities.
