Monteforte d'Alpone is a production area for Soave Classico: this important local production is dedicated to the traditional Wine Festival, during which the fruit of the work of master winemakers and the precious gift of the soil, rich in unique properties that allow for a wine with a fruity and enveloping flavor famous throughout the world, is celebrated.
From May 22 to May 24, 2026, Monteforte d'Alpone awaits you for the 51st Wine Festival: three unmissable days dedicated to flavors, culture, tradition, and fun in the heart of the Soave territory.
Get ready for countless experiences for everyone: wine tastings, guided tours of wineries, art exhibitions, theater, visits to the Bishop's Palace, gastronomic specialties, music, and much more.
A unique event where tradition, taste, and entertainment meet. Mark the date and get ready to toast with us!
Amidst sweet plains and charming hills, Monteforte d'Alpone is the heart of an excellent wine tradition. In the plain, Soave DOC is born, fresh and pleasant; but it is by climbing among the vineyards of the “historic” hills that the most authentic and precious expressions of the territory are discovered.
Here, Soave Classico DOC and Soave Superiore Classico DOCG come to life: elegant wines rich in personality, shaped by volcanic and limestone soils that offer intense aromas, great structure, and pronounced minerality.
And for those seeking an even more special experience, there is Recioto di Soave Classico DOCG: an ancient sweet passito wine, able to tell centuries of history and tradition.
The Additional Geographical Units (UGA) further enhance these excellences, identifying specific subzones within the Soave Classico area: true “crus” capable of expressing, in an even more precise way, the unique nuances of each hill, among different exposures, soils, and microclimates.
