Festa delle Ciliegie

Among the numerous traditional festivals held in early summer to celebrate one of the most prized fruits of the area is the Cherry Festival of Montecchia di Crosara, now in its 92nd edition.  

Montecchia di Crosara, like the entire Veronese hilly region, is particularly suited not only for wine and olive oil production but also for cherry cultivation, produced in various types and sizes.

The fruit produced in this land, particularly juicy, sweet, and flavorful due to the richness of minerals and the volcanic origin of the soil, comes from small family-run farms.
