A brilliant comedy dedicated to the figure of the ferryman, ancient custodian of the waterways of Veneto and storyteller suspended between land and river. Gigi Mardegan brings to life the epic of the last ferrymen, rough and poetic souls swept away by the boom of the Sixties, when highways and progress erased a world made of barges, landings, fog, and memories aboard. Between memories, popular legends, and irresistible scenes of comedy, the boat becomes a floating stage and the sail transforms into an imaginary backdrop, capable of collecting stories of toil, roots, adventures, and melancholy.
