Glances beyond the walls

The Cinema Circle, a cultural film association founded in Verona in 1947, presents from May 26 to 28 at the Kappadue cinema, a cinematic exploration titled "Views Beyond the Walls," aimed at intertwining the artistic research of directors and the cinephile offerings with attention to the socio-cultural context of the city.

The Film Days develop through a program of 6 titles from the international scene, screened in regional premieres and, in some cases, national. The films will be screened at the Kappadue cinema hall in Verona and divided into two screening times each day at 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
 
Six stories from different countries (Belgium, USA, Lithuania, Kenya, Japan), allowing the directors' perspectives to delve into the intimate world of the characters, addressing themes related to emotions (from love to fear), the sense of community, and the lesser-known aspects of daily life in societies different from our own. The issues and challenges of today's society are tackled in these works through very different styles, providing a unique opportunity to explore the new frontiers of contemporary cinema.
