Hostaria Verona

From October 17 to 19, 2025, the streets and squares of the historic center of Verona will come alive again with Hostaria Verona, the wine and harvest festival of Verona.

The exhibition, now in its eleventh edition, confirms itself as one of the most important events in Italy in its genre for rediscovering eno-gastronomic and cultural tourism that benefits local merchants and restaurants, with shops and activities open until late evening. A new feature of this edition is a project dedicated to Garda DOP oil, the green gold of Lake Garda, and collaboration with the Apicoltori del Veneto Association, where Hydromel, the drink of the Gods, will be presented.

The entrances to the Hostaria Festival are located at 2 strategic points: Piazza Bra and Piazza dei Signori.

The route stops at Via Roma, Piazza Bra and its Gardens, Cortile Mercato Vecchio, Cortile del Tribunale, Piazza dei Signori, and the Gardens of Piazza Indipendenza.

The food and wine stands, along with the cultural activities of the Festival, are concentrated in 5 macro areas:

The Ancient Oil Loggia: Ancient loggia in Piazza dei Signori
One of the new features of 2025 with workshops, tastings, and exclusive masterclasses open to all, organized by the Consortium for the protection of Garda DOP oil.

The Monte Veronese Village: Piazza Bra
A large space dedicated to Monte Veronese DOP Cheese, with fun workshops for adults and children with free participation 

The Sbecolerie: along the city streets
Tastings of typical Veronese, Venetian, and regional products while strolling through the historic center, including the panbollito with pearà or the traditional risotto col tastasal, the tortellini of Valeggio, the gnocchi of malga and the cheeses of Lessinia.

The Foresteria: Gardens of Piazza Indipendenza
A wide space for wines, regional specialties, and folk performances from Italian regions, with Emilia, Sardinia, Lombardy, Marche, Abruzzo, Sicily, and Apulia as guest regions.

The Bees' Way: Via Roma
A novelty with an ancient yet contemporary flavor: hydromel. Its very name derives from the Greek terms “idro” (water) and “meli” (honey), and has always accompanied myths and legends.
