12 concerts characterized by a mix of genres: evenings of classical music will alternate with cinematographic atmospheres, with a special tribute to Ennio Morricone and one to gospel and American myth, up to the sounds of flamenco.
The 2025 Season will bring great protagonists of the national and international music scene to Verona.
The opening evening will be dedicated to the one-act opera Mozart and Salieri, composed by Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov.
Among the great guests: Gianfranco Bortolato, oboe soloist, in a program dedicated to the Treasures of the Venetian Baroque.
Enriching the musical scenario will be the famous Russian violinist Sergej Krylov, who will conduct an evening entirely dedicated to the Mozart repertoire, the Korean pianist Kun Woo Paik; the violinists Ulf Schneider and Michael Guttman, the cellist Jing Zhao and the pianist Edoardo Strabbioli.
The symphonic event dedicated to Mendelssohn-Bartholdy will be led by the Austro-Lithuanian violinist Julian Rachlin, one of the most brilliant contemporary artists.
There will be three crossover evenings on the bill, which will combine classical music with suggestions sometimes close to the atmospheres of flamenco, sometimes aimed at great film music.
On February 26th the Carnival Concert will be held, a musical journey, in the company of the vocal ensemble Gli Alti & Bassi, which will go from gospel to film soundtracks, Disney music, passing through the legendary 50s and 60s, Platters and Elvis Presley.
The concerts will be held in two locations: the magnificent setting of the former Church of S. Pietro in Monastero in Via Garibaldi 3 and the seat of the Ristori Theater, one of the historic theaters of the city of Verona.
