In bicicletta tra manufatti, oasi e risorgive

The Ecomuseum of the Veronese Plain opens its doors to the territory with an Open Day dedicated to cycle tourism, nature, and the discovery of water management. A guided bike ride of approximately 40 km along the picturesque Ciclopista delle Risorgive, suitable for adults and families, with exclusive naturalistic stops and guided tours.

Time: from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Meeting point and departure: Casa Bombarda (Via Pontoncello 13, 37057 San Giovanni Lupatoto - VR)
Route: Approximately 40 km in total (along part of the Ciclopista delle Risorgive)
Lunch: Packed lunch (self-managed) in the park of Villa Balladoro

Participation fees and included services
Standard fee (20 €): Includes the provision of bicycles for adults and guided accompaniment with ecomuseum operators.
Fee with own bicycle (Adults): 15 €
Reduced fee for children (under 14 years, with own bike): 7 €

The Program and the Itinerary
The bike excursion offers a fascinating route through canals, springs, countryside, and natural areas that illustrates how water is the true protagonist in the territory of the Veronese Plain. The itinerary will stretch from Casa Bombarda to the territory of Povegliano Veronese, which officially joins as a new partner of the Ecomuseum.
During the day, three important stops for in-depth exploration are planned:

• Park "Le Sorgenti del Castello" (Castel d'Azzano): A beautiful green area created around the springs, where water spontaneously rises from the subsoil creating a unique ecosystem.
• Oasis of the Bora (Povegliano Veronese): A true treasure trove of protected biodiversity, where participants will be guided to discover the site by volunteers from WWF Veronese.
• The Bosco del Menago: An area of environmental balance and recreated plain forest, ideal for a refreshing stop immersed in greenery.

How to participate and reservations
Spaces for the excursion are limited. To ensure proper organization and availability of bicycles, reservation is mandatory.
