The exhibition "The Power of Color" presents the work of Annalisa Paganini, an artist who has transformed her experience of illness into a creative path of resilience and sharing.
The exhibition features about 70 paintings and a selection of objects decorated with her works, available for purchase.
Annalisa Paganini was born on June 12, 1963, in Motta di Livenza. After years of working as a nurse, the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis imposed new expressive modes on her: when her hands could no longer allow her to paint, the artist developed a technique for painting with her mouth.
Her personal experience is at the heart of the exhibition and represents a strong educational value and example.
The role of Ability Art: the collaboration with the international association has enabled the transformation of many works into commercial products, financially supporting artists and expanding the dissemination of their creations. In Italy, the project also has a location in Verona (vicolo Balena).
Collateral activities and school audience: the initiative involves local schools to present to young people not only the works but also the personal story of the artist and the value of inclusion. Before the exhibition, a conference on multiple sclerosis will be held on May 15 at the multifunctional hall of the Municipal Library "Mario Franzosi" in Villafranca, with doctors, professionals in adapted physical activity, and representatives from universities and local associations.
The exhibition is promoted by the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association, by the San Rocco ODV Committee, by the Municipality of Villafranca, and by local entities committed to promoting inclusion through art, health, and movement.
