Le Meraviglie del Passato

On the occasion of the traditional Sagra di San Matteo in September, the gathering of vintage cars and motorcycles THE WONDERS OF THE PAST takes place in Quaderni di Villafranca, an event that started quietly in 2016 but has gained considerable success in subsequent years, reaching hundreds of registrations from vehicles, including cars and motorcycles, from numerous provinces in Northern Italy.
Great feedback has also been received in local newspapers (Verona Sera, L’Arena, Target) and on social media.
Since 2017, the event has enjoyed the patronage of the Municipality of Villafranca di Verona, which has exceptionally granted the Castello Scaligero as a prestigious location to conclude the parade and take the ritual photos.
Since 2019, the Municipality of Villafranca di Verona has joined the Association of Motor Cities, the network of municipalities with a strong automotive vocation, which has granted its patronage to the event.

Event program:

8:30 a.m. – Participant registration in Quaderni (at via Mazzini 88), welcome breakfast and static display of vehicles.

9:45 a.m. – Parade of historic vehicles through the streets of Quaderni to the Castello di Villafranca (with the possibility of visiting the Tower, independently).

Following – Buffet refreshment: an energizing break filled with taste and sharing.

11:45 a.m. – Prize drawing for rich food baskets.

1:00 p.m. – Return to Quaderni and lunch at the festival (ONLY by reservation).
