An audacious theatrical zany reignites the magic of the Shakespearean Dream by grafting it onto the nomadic legacy of the Italian "mountain jumpers." This new production reveals itself as a manifesto of disguises and allusions, where the scenic play transforms romantic misunderstandings and the magical world into an overwhelming baroque vision.
At the heart of the project is a living and layered language: the Bard's English visceral merges with the guts of dialects — Neapolitan, Venetian, Lombard — returning a vibrant popular truth. On stage, just three performers challenge the chaos of reality with visible disguises, transforming the stage into a refuge for lovers of memory. A modern rite that, starting from wooden boards, transforms the diabolical mechanism of the world into a new, rediscovered order through poetry.
A work that celebrates theater as a space of truth and memory, where each mask reveals the man.
A production of Casa Shakespeare and Estate Teatrale Veronese.
