Musical October

Sunday October 5, 2025 marks the annual appointment with the Musical October - Terenzio Zardini Award, which this year celebrates sixteen years, marking the 25th anniversary of the composer's passing.

The goal of the festival is to promote musical culture in general, the repertoire of Maestro Zardini in particular, as well as that of composers from Verona and Veneto. A unique opportunity to spread his artistic message: music that seeks beauty, truth, and spirituality, rooted in tradition yet open to experimentation.

Bach&Vivaldi...Europe in Counterpoint
Featuring the "Gaetano Zinetti" Chamber Orchestra and soloists Francesco Ferrarini (cello), Glauco Bertagnin (violin), and Roberto Loreggian (organ).

• Sunday October 12, at 4:00 PM
Widor's Fifth: Symphonic Triumph on the Organ
Featuring organist Raimondo Mazzon.

• Sunday October 19, at 4:00 PM
Sonatas and Fantasies
Featuring Nicola Dolci, winner of the 2025 Terenzio Zardini International Competition.

• Sunday October 26, at 4:00 PM
French Polyphonies and Divine Melodies
Featuring the youth lyrical choir A.LI.VE., soloists Maria Vittoria Caputo, Carlotta Caruso, Noemi Ceschi, Zoe Sartori, and organist Roberto Bonetto.

All concerts will be held at the parish church of San Bernardino.

The entrance is free.

Artistic direction and organization by the Musical Association Fr. Terenzio Zardini, with the patronage of the City of Verona and the contribution of the District 1^ Historic Center.
