The heart of Verona hosts one of the most significant events dedicated to the dissemination of science.
Piazza dei Signori, Cortile Mercato Vecchio, Cortile del Tribunale, Loggiato di Frà Giocondo will frame numerous researchers who will meet the public to explain how research contributes every day to improving people's lives.
Health, artificial intelligence, innovation, sustainability, financial education, cultural heritage, and digital transformation will be some of the themes at the center of a day rich in free appointments open to everyone.
From 8:30 p.m., the Orchestra of the University of Verona will precede the participation of science communicator Massimo Polidoro, the protagonist of the meeting "Communicating Science. A Creative Challenge."
Following will be talks by several Univr scientists, concluding with a concert by singer-songwriter Giulia Mei and the dj set by Greta Tedeschi.
Admission is free and the events will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
The initiative is made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Municipality of Verona, the sponsorship of the Province of Verona, the support of Fondazione CariVerona, and the contribution of UniCredit.
The event is part of the activities of the European project RE-NOURISH, which promotes the dialogue between research and society through the European Researchers' Night.
