The Cinema Teatro San Michele is pleased to host the musical based on the namesake Disney masterpiece, an enchanting production suitable for both young and old.

In the beginning, there was only the Ocean until Te Fiti, the mother island, was born. Her magical heart, a small green stone, had the power to create life. However, the demigod Maui stole that heart to grant humanity its power, unleashing devastating darkness. During his escape, Maui lost both the stone and his magical hook, disappearing.
One thousand years later, Moana (Vaiana in the original language), daughter of the chief of the island of Motunui, is chosen by the Ocean to return the heart to Te Fiti. When the nature of her island begins to die, she discovers through her grandmother Tala, deemed the "crazy one of the village," that their ancestors were navigators and that a grave danger threatens the world. Before she dies, Tala gives her the heart of Te Fiti and encourages her to set sail in search of Maui to defeat the darkness and save the ocean and its inhabitants.
