OTTO INFINITO – Vita e morte di un Mamba

Federico Buffa, journalist and sports commentator, brings to the stage of the Teatro Nuovo OTTO INFINITO,  a story dedicated to the global basketball legend, Kobe Bryant, exploring his obsession with success and his thirst for knowledge, with an engaging narrative full of anecdotes and reflective insights.

The tour starts in Reggio Emilia, the city where Joe Bryant, the father of the great champion, played for years, and where Kobe lived as a child.

With this show, Federico Buffa returns to the theater with his great passion, basketball, and does so by exploring the human condition through themes such as dreams, inner struggle, and the desire to overcome one's limits. Through Bryant's story, Buffa speaks of perseverance, failure, and redemption, showing how each person can aspire to leave a mark: a tribute to a champion, a reflection on universal values, in search of a meaning that goes beyond sports success.

In recounting Kobe Bryant's life, Buffa humanizes the athlete, highlighting the difficulties the athlete managed to overcome, creating a deep connection between the character and the audience.

The show is thus a heartfelt tribute to Kobe Bryant, but also a broader reflection on the values that unite us all: the desire to leave a mark, the continuous search for oneself, the hunger for knowledge and growth.
