On Tuesday, July 22 and Wednesday, July 23 at 9:30 PM, the magical setting of the Arena di Verona hosts one of the most eagerly awaited and exciting events of the summer season.
Roberto Bolle & Friends is the unmissable appointment with international dance which, since 2017, has captivated a large audience in the major theaters of Italy. Two evenings of pure magic on tiptoe, where it is impossible not to be moved by the talent and elegance that classical dance and its performers bring to the stage.
The grand master of ceremonies for the evening will, of course, be Roberto Bolle, who along with stars of dance from the most prestigious international companies will perform in the stunning space of the Veronese amphitheater. The show will pair the classical repertoire with the contemporary, featuring contributions from some of the most important choreographers on the international scene: fun and drama, irony and elegance, innovation and tradition blend on the same stage.
The 2025 gala will showcase Nicoletta Manni and Timofej Andrijashenko, étoile and first dancer of Teatro alla Scala, Melissa Hamilton, first dancer of the Royal Ballet of London, Tatiana Melnik, first dancer of the Hungarian National Ballet in Budapest, Giorgi Potskhishvili, first dancer of the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam, Oleksandr Ryabko, first dancer of the Hamburg Ballet in Germany, and two international artists like Mikaela Kelly, making her debut at the Arena, and Toon Lobach, making a long-awaited return.
Alongside the étoile of La Scala, there will also be two great encounters with live music: Marcos Madrigal, an award-winning Cuban concertist, and singer-songwriter Antonio Diodato, performing together live for the first time on the immense stage of the Arena di Verona.
Roberto Bolle, born in Casale Monferrato in 1975, is the first dancer in the world to simultaneously hold the titles of Étoile of Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Principal Dancer of the American Ballet Theatre in New York.
The event is organized by Fondazione Arena in co-production with Artedanza.
