Written by British playwright Michael Frayn, "Noises Off" is one of the most performed and appreciated comedies in the world, characterized by an unstoppable rhythm that inevitably wins over and entertains the audience.

It is the most performed show by the Genoese theater company The Kitchen Company, which has staged it more than 200 times, attracting over 66,000 spectators. For years, they only appeared on the stages of their hometown, but in January 2025 they reached the Teatro di Fiesole with 49 sold-out performances and will also be in Verona from March 3 to 6, 2026, at 21:00 in the evocative setting of the Teatro Nuovo.

The comedy is divided into three acts and tells three moments in the life of a professional theater company.
In the first act, the members of the company are introduced, busy rehearsing the farce "Nothing's On," a show far from ready for its premiere scheduled for the following evening.
In the second act, the backstage of a thirtieth performance on tour is shown, revealing the tensions among the company members, the loves, the jealousies, and especially the decay of the farce being staged.
In the third act, we find the company dealing with a hundredth performance with catastrophic and hilarious results.
