Investigative journalism takes to the streets and becomes civil narrative. Sigfrido Ranucci, a historic Rai correspondent and since 2017 the face of the popular program Report, will be the protagonist of an unmissable event in the evocative summer setting of the Castello Scaligero in Villafranca.
With the show "Diary of a Trapeze Artist", Ranucci reveals an unprecedented and private side: a "secret Sigfrido" that acts parallel to the television one, forced to make crucial choices in a few seconds, decisions that have forever marked his human and professional journey.
On stage, almost novelistic figures will come to life who, while remaining in the shadows, have been decisive for his most famous scoops: from the vagabond who helped him expose the use of white phosphorus in Falluja, to the taxi driver essential for the recovery of the treasures of the Tanzi art gallery. We will meet the Swiss producer who saved him from a politician's spies, the professor from the meeting in the rest stop between Renzi and Mancini, up to the bodyguard Lavinia and the robber from Puglia who witnessed the mafia's plans against him.
Ranucci teaches us that destiny is not written in qualities, but in the choices we make or avoid making. Every encounter, every person crossed along the way has had a precise role, contributing to weave the fabric of a life lived constantly on a tightrope, just like a trapeze artist.
