The European tour of THE WATCH PLAYS GENESIS lands in Verona on October 18 for a special date of the Milanese band that is gaining popularity all over Europe and Great Britain.
THE WATCH, after the success that has seen them perform in the most important European capitals, continue to bring the music of Genesis to the stage, managing to capture the essence and atmosphere of the early years of the English band. Their technical execution and the energy they bring to the stage make their shows a unique experience for Genesis fans and beyond, an opportunity to be transported back in time thanks to the skill of their performances, but also to a voice that, like no other, comes close to that of young Peter Gabriel from the 1970s.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary, the double concept album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway will be fully presented again, enhanced by small narrative anecdotes that will guide the listener through the streets of Broadway, revealing secrets and mysteries behind the most important rock opera of the English quintet.
The Watch are a 5-member band from Milan whose music is inspired by the classic progressive rock of the 1970s, particularly the music of Genesis. Since 2010, the band has decided to combine original compositions with a new formula for approaching live performances. The band consists of Andrea Giustiniani (Electric guitar, 12-string acoustic guitar), Mattia Rossetti (Bass, 12-string electric and acoustic guitar, Moog Taurus bass pedals, vocals), Simone Rossetti (Vocals, flute), Valerio De Vittorio (Organ, piano, synthesizers, mellotron, acoustic guitar, vocals), and Francesco Vaccarezza (Drums, vocals).
