Tocatì

From September 1th to 21st, 2025, the twenty-third edition of Tocatì, International Street Games Festival, will be held in Verona, organized by the Associazione Giochi Antichi in collaboration with the Municipality of Verona and with the support of the Veneto Region.

The traditional playful culture event was first organized in 2003 and quickly became an international reference point!

The squares of Veronetta will transform into a meeting space between distant worlds, connected by an invisible thread made of play, memory, and community, along with the exceptional guest of honor of this edition; the Māori of New Zealand.
Dances, stories, songs, and the Ngā taonga tākaro, the traditional Māori games, will give voice to a living culture, deeply connected to the land, time, and ancestors.

Alongside the guest of honor, there will be Italian games and many cultural activities for an entire weekend that celebrates play as a universal language and bridge between cultures, generations, and territories.

The Associazione Giochi Antichi is ready to unveil the games of Italy and Italy playing, within the event that has entered the prestigious Register of Good Practices for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage UNESCO.
