Tour del Palato - Magnalonga di Prun

The ancient Preare of Prun, in the territory of Negrar di Valpolicella, are preparing to experience a new season of cultural events. Between august and september 2026, the historic quarry galleries return to be the protagonists of initiatives capable of uniting music, territory, memory, and enhancement of the local heritage.

Carved from the stone of Lessinia, the Preare represent one of the most evocative testimonies of the history of Prun. The galleries tell centuries of work and tradition linked to stone extraction, today providing visitors with an environment of great charm, almost a true "cathedral of stone." The Association La Malga ODV has been committed for years to enhancing this heritage through visits, cultural initiatives, and activities dedicated to knowledge of the territory.

A visit to the Preare represents an opportunity to get to know up close a heritage often little known: the formation of the stone, traditional extraction techniques, the tools used by stonecutters, and the history of the community of Prun are some of the elements that make the experience particularly interesting.
