Urban Orbit

Verona transforms into a large open-air stage thanks to the first edition of Urban Orbit, the Urban Theater festival.

Over twenty events featuring contemporary circus, street artists, and multidisciplinary performances that connect the historic center to the city's neighborhoods, bringing together tourists and residents of all generations.

Verona transforms into an open-air stage: streets, squares, courtyards, and gardens will host a rich lineup of free events ranging from street theater to acrobatic arts, from music to contemporary circus, to puppet theater.

The programming of this first edition of the festival speaks both to the heart of the neighborhoods and to the international audience of the historic center.

The performances in the historic center transcend every linguistic and cultural barrier, offering tourists and residents a unique and surprising way to experience the city's symbolic monuments.

Far from traditional tourist flows, in the squares and parks of the Districts, Urban Orbit instead becomes a hub of spontaneous sociality and urban regeneration, where the shows are conceived as bridges capable of eliminating age-related distances.

URBAN ORBIT is promoted by the Municipality of Verona in collaboration with Districts II, III, IV, VI, VII, and VIII, Ippogrifo Produzioni, with support from the Ministry of Culture and funding from the AGSM AIM Foundation.
