Veneto Women

On October 15, the first edition of Veneto Women, a professional women's cycling race, debuts on the streets of Verona.

An event designed to enhance talent, passion, and spectacle, right in the heart of the Veneto region.

The route, categorized as 1.1 and spanning 116.2 km, is identical to the men's race of the Giro del Veneto, starting at 9:30 AM from Piazza dei Signori in Vicenza and concluding around 12:30 PM with the arrival in Corso Porta Nuova in Verona. The course, designed to encourage long-distance attacks, promises pure spectacle: a dynamic, fast, and unpredictable race that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats from the very first pedaling.

The event of the Giro del Veneto will be an opportunity to bring great cycling back to the roads of the 1999 and 2004 World Championships and to announce the naming of the circuit after Teofilo Sanson, an entrepreneur and great cycling enthusiast who was the soul of those events.

A race that will see the participation of thirteen teams, including the six World Tour teams Human Powered Health, AG Insurance - Soudal Team, UAE Team ADQ, Movistar Team, and Canyon // SRAM zondacrypto.
