Discovering Isola della Scala, among churches, history, and local traditions!
On Sunday, November 22, the appointment returns with “Let’s Live the Bassa – Discover the Territory”, the cultural path promoted by the La Pianura Cultura Association to learn about and enhance the places of the Veronese Plain.
The guided tour will take participants to discover three important places of worship:

Parish Church, with its history and the artistic testimonies it holds.

Church and Sanctuary of the Bastia, whose origins date back to 1126, on the occasion of the first 900 years since its foundation.

Church of the Formica, a place deeply connected to the cultural and religious tradition of the local community.
The meeting is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, in front of the Church, with participant registration. At the end of the visits, a convivial moment is planned at the care of the Alpine Group of Isola della Scala.
A small contribution of €5.00 is requested to cover the expenses incurred.
