Join us on this full-day tour (about 8 hours) to discover one of the lesser-known wine areas of Verona, the moraine hills of southern Lake Garda. This area is not very touristy, so this is the perfect tour if you want to spend a day in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying good wine and century-old traditions. The departure is from the Pagus store at 9:00 AM, and first, we will reach Custoza, where you will visit a local winery and taste their wines. The most famous wine here is Custoza DOC, a blend of local white grapes, perfect for lovers of white wines and to tackle the warm summer days. We will then reach Borghetto, a picturesque little village overlooking the Mincio River. You can walk in its charming streets and on the medieval bridge, appreciating delightful views that you won’t be able to resist capturing in a photograph. You will hear the history of the village and the legend behind the so-called "Love Knot", the local tortellini for which Valeggio is famous. In Borghetto, we will also stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can taste the flavors of Italian tradition (Valeggio tortellini included!), paired, of course, with more excellent wine! In the early afternoon, we will bid farewell to the hills of Custoza and Borghetto, to return to the city.
