Join us on this full-day tour (about 8 hours), discovering one of the lesser-known wine regions of Verona, the morainic hills of southern Lake Garda. This area is not very touristy, making it the perfect tour if you want to spend a day in a relaxed atmosphere, centered around good wine and centuries-old traditions. We will depart from the Pagus store at 9:00 AM, and first, we'll head to Custoza, where you will visit a local winery and taste their wines. The most famous wine here is Custoza DOC, a blend of local white grapes, perfect for white wine lovers and to tackle the hot summer days. We will then reach Borghetto, a picturesque village overlooking the Mincio River. You can walk through its streets and on the medieval bridge, appreciating charming views that you won't be able to resist capturing in a photograph. The history of the village and the legend that gives rise to the so-called "Lover's Knot", the local tortellini for which Valeggio is famous, will be shared with you. In Borghetto, we will also stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor the flavors of Italian tradition (Valeggio tortellini included!), paired, of course, with more excellent wine! In the early afternoon, we will bid farewell to the hills of Custoza and Borghetto, returning to the city.
