The tour departs from our PaguStore, at Via della Valverde 75, at 9.00 a.m., and the first stop will be Coffee Roasting Plant Roen. Surrounded by the enveloping aromas of roasted beans, we will unveil the secrets of authentic Italian Espresso, and taste at least 2 blends, in search of our favorite. A true Italian start! The morning will continue with a visit to 1 local winery in Valpolicella, where they will tell us the story of the company and the very particular process for producing Amarone della Valpolicella. We will follow with a moment of tasting at least 4 wines (including Amarone), accompanied by some snacks.

Some reviews:
My partner and I did the “Espresso & Amarone” tour in June 2024. It was fun, interesting, and well-organized in terms of timing! It was nice to vary from the usual multiple winery tours, combining half of the experience focused on espresso and half on wine. Our drivers and guides were all available, friendly, and very informative. We left from Verona and drove through a beautiful area outside the city (beautiful landscape!) to a coffee roaster, where we had a guided tour and tasting. Then we moved to a winery for another visit and tasting. The roasting tour was really interesting: I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to deepen their knowledge of the different types of espresso and add something different to a wine tour. We learned how beans are selected, saw the roasting and packaging process live, tasted two different roasts, and dove into how to prepare a good espresso and recognize its qualities and aromatic notes. The wine tasting was excellent and as expected. We first visited the winery and then tasted five different wines sitting on a covered outdoor terrace, accompanied by crackers and cheeses. The only regret is that we would have liked to stroll a bit among the vineyards.

I booked this tour because I love both coffee and red wine, so it was the perfect combination! We were lucky enough to be the only participants that day, so the tour turned into a private experience, even better! I really appreciated the in-depth exploration of the world of espresso, seeing the roasting process, and having the chance to ask many questions. The tasting was incredible and the coffee we bought, we are already enjoying every day at home. Fantastic! The wine tasting was really enjoyable, with a lovely story of the winery and a very skilled guide. Anna accompanied us during the transfers and was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable; we really appreciated the time spent with her. I definitely recommend it: the fact that the tour focused solely on two main experiences was a huge advantage, as it allowed us to enjoy everything at a leisurely pace without being rushed from one stop to another.
