Horseback riding and wine tasting in the Land of Custoza

Start by getting to know the horses, participating in their preparation and assisting in their saddling before the ride. You will receive an introductory lesson in horsemanship: each rider will be carefully matched with one of our trekking horses, based on weight, height and level of experience. The horseback ride lasts approximately 60 minutes and winds through beautiful vineyards to the hill of Custoza.

The horseback ride lasts approximately 60 minutes and winds through beautiful vineyards to the hill of Custoza. Here you will visit a family-run winery, where you can taste the local white wine while enjoying wonderful views of the green countryside. You will enter the cellar, surrounded by the unmistakable scent of old barrels, and discover the fascinating winemaking techniques. You will taste a selection of their best wines — white, rosé and red — accompanied by cheeses and cured meats of their own production. At the end of the ride, you will also have the opportunity to brush the horse and offer it a snack.Note: if you are expecting the classic horseback ride that many have experienced in Italy, this experience is different. These horses are happy, lively and well trained: they are docile, but it is not just a matter of sitting. It is important to know how to listen to instructions and maintain attention throughout the ride.
