Into the Mountains: Horseback Riding

Imagine saddling up with a cool breeze brushing against your skin, even in the middle of summer, with nothing but an endless stretch of meadows ahead of you. There are no city sounds here, just the rustling of the wind through the grasslands, the sound of hooves, and the occasional warning whistle of marmots in the distance. Here, nature isn’t simply something you look at: you experience it with all your senses, breath by breath, alongside your horse.

Program: After meeting at the ranch and getting to know one another over a coffee, you’ll watch a demonstration in the arena, where you’ll learn the techniques and basic safety guidelines for handling and guiding a horse using both body language and voice.

Then it’s your turn! Each participant will be paired with a horse based on their individual characteristics. You’ll learn your horse’s name - so be sure to remember it! - and then it’s time to saddle up and put into practice what you’ve just observed. This part of the experience is essential for getting to know your horse and building the trust and confidence needed before setting out on the trail. After this unforgettable experience, we’ll return to the ranch for a relaxed moment to answer all your questions and curiosities over a beer and a few snacks.
