A thematic walking route of about 6 kilometres, dedicated to the evolution of the valley landscape, rural life, and the development of agro-industry.
The first stop is Le Vallette Park in Cerea, a restored wetland located along the ancient riverbed of the Menago River, where nature still tells the story of the marshy valleys that once characterised the area.
The itinerary continues towards Palazzo Grigolli Bresciani, an elegant Renaissance residence dating back to the late 15th century, later transformed over the centuries. Its architecture reflects the transition from a rural society to a bourgeois culture focused on prestige and representation, offering a precious glimpse into local history.
The next stop is at Area EXP, a complex built on a former industrial archaeology site – once a chemical fertilizer factory, now revived as a venue for events, fairs, and cultural activities.
The experience concludes at the Municipal Park “Prà della Fiera”, which hosts the Slow Food Farmers’ Market, where participants can enjoy a tasting of traditional local products.
This journey through landscapes and places condenses centuries of transformation into just a few kilometres. It is a voyage into the memory of the land, where nature, labour, and innovation come together to tell the living story of the Pianura dei Dogi.
