The half-day wine tour Soave and Amarone (about 4 ½ hours), departing from Verona at 2:00 p.m., will first take you along the Soave wine road, showing you all the history and ancient charm of these regions of eastern Verona. You will visit 1 winery and taste at least 4 white wines such as Soave DOC, Soave Superiore DOCG, and Recioto di Soave DOCG. You will then move to Valpolicella, where you will visit 1 winery that produces the typical red wines of this other wine region. Here you will taste at least 4 wines from Valpolicella DOC and DOCG, such as Valpolicella, Ripasso, his majesty Amarone, and Recioto, with their different styles. Through this tour you will get to know 2 Veronese wine regions and the wines produced here, relaxing among the wonderful hills of Soave and Valpolicella.

This wine tour between Soave and Valpolicella was absolutely extraordinary! We visited two wineries, both very charming and completely different from each other, which made the experience even more interesting due to the comparison of styles. The wines were fantastic — from fresh and fragrant Soave whites to rich and smooth Valpolicella — and the tastings were anything but sparse. Our guide was exceptional: very friendly, approachable and clearly very knowledgeable about the wines and the area. She made the day relaxed and fun, not formal or rushed at all. The lunch was a dream: we ate in a beautiful villa surrounded by vineyards. The food was delicious, the wine flowed abundantly and the scenery looked like it was out of a postcard. One thing I particularly appreciated was the ease of purchasing and shipping the wine home: no worries about transporting the bottles in luggage, they took care of everything for us. Overall, it was a truly fantastic experience — relaxing, evocative and incredibly tasty. If you are a wine lover and are planning a trip to Veneto, don’t miss this tour!

It was a fantastic experience and absolutely recommended. We visited two wineries that were very different from each other and we were able to delve into the wine production process thanks to passionate people, tasting four wines at each of the two stops. If you are a wine enthusiast, this tour is definitely worth trying.

A fantastic afternoon spent visiting two vineyards. Our guide Anna was excellent, spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the wines of the region. The wines were delicious and we were served generous portions, more than I expected. We booked this experience because the weather forecast was unfavorable, and it was a great choice, as it takes place indoors, but I would say it’s worth going at any time.
