Just a 20-minute drive from Verona, Valpolicella is one of Italy’s most renowned and appreciated wine regions, famous not only for Amarone, but also for Ripasso and the sweet Recioto, the father of Amarone!

 

Throughout the day, you will closely observe all stages of the winemaking process, from fermentation to bottling. Complete the experience with a unique tasting of different vintages of Amarone. In addition, one of our producers offers a delightful extra virgin olive oil tasting. Between visits to vineyards and wineries, enjoy a delicious traditional lunch, of course always paired with Valpolicella wine!

 

The afternoon winery visit includes a walk through the vineyards to discover the different native grape varieties of Valpolicella. This is followed by a wine tasting, concluding with a toast of grappa to end the day together.
