Discover Christmas in Verona — a journey through history, traditions, and authentic flavors
We begin at Ponte Pietra, admiring spectacular views over the Adige River, where the Roman and medieval layers of Verona come alive around the Roman Theatre and Castel San Pietro.
Then we stroll toward the Cathedral, where we admire the precious Nativity lunette, and—just from the outside—the historic Chapter Library of Verona, about which we will offer a brief but meaningful note on its cultural importance. After that, we weave through charming alleys that lead us to Piazza dei Signori, glowing with Christmas lights and festive charm.
Next, we head to Piazza Erbe, the vibrant heart of Verona, dominated by the majestic Palazzo Maffei. Here, amid Christmas legends and stories, we stop at the historic Michele Turco 1909 shop for an exclusive tasting, celebrating the inventor of Pandoro — where tradition and flavor come together beautifully.
We conclude our walk at Portoni Borsari, surrounded by evocative Roman ruins and the magical festive atmosphere of the historic centre — a truly unforgettable moment. Along the way, in front of Palazzo Melegatti, we will unveil the true story of the inventor of Pandoro, and will admire a detail that often goes unseen by the inattentive — revealing secrets and hidden corners known only to locals.
