Route 1

Our route begins at the Carcere degli Scalzi, a place full of history.

We will tell the stories of the brave escapes of the partisans, who managed to flee from here, and the monument that commemorates their names. Not far away, we will stop in front of the statue of Don Giuseppe Chiot, who with his courage opposed the injustices of his time, now a symbol of moral resistance.

Finally, we will arrive at Castelvecchio, where we will discover its history during the fascist period and the role it played during those years.

The visit concludes with an explanation of the exhibition currently hosted at the castle.

We will conclude by saying goodbye and allowing participants who wish to continue the visit independently.
