The Seven Volcanoes walking route was born in 2020, from the idea and good will of the “Vestenastock APS” Association. You will find yourself walking along paths that were the scene of Nazi-fascist massacres. You will be catapulted into the world of fossil fish on a journey through time of fifty million years, you will admire the religious sculptures and columns dedicated to the nativity, sculpted since 1600. You will be enchanted by the vast horizons from the top of the mountains, taking a journey backwards through semi-abandoned districts, ancient springs, evidence of a peasant life now lost in time. Above all, you will immerse yourself in a geologically fascinating itinerary, at the foot of extinct volcanoes that dominate the valleys: Calvarina, Madarosa, Guarda, Purga di Bolca, Purga di Durlo, Belloca and, at the end of the ring, the columnar basalts of San Giovanni Ilarione.
