Cycling route starting from the center of Erbezzo and developing along the historic military road that climbs between the high districts above the capital until reaching the pastures of central Lessinia; this section of ascent is entirely paved and is pleasant because it does not present particular slopes.
After passing the districts of Bernardi and Sale, the Malfatta, Derocchetto, and Vallina pastures will accompany us until we reach the highest point of the route, over 1550m altitude at the Bivio del Pidocchio. From this splendid panoramic point, a beautiful and winding descent will begin that, among pastures and woods, will allow us to reach the Passo Fittanze.
After a stop at the pass, we will descend for a few hundred meters south to the homonymous refuge, and then leave the asphalt to begin a pleasant up and down on a municipal dirt road, until we skirt the Rambalda and Volpina pastures; from the latter pasture we will enter the territory of Sant’Anna d’Alfaedo, where the asphalt will return with some challenging winding sections until reaching contrada Bertasi. This location will open into a panoramic straight stretch until the junction with the provincial road that connects Sant’Anna to Erbezzo, just above the Provalo area. At the intersection, we will follow the signs for Erbezzo, returning to its territory after completing the descent in the catchment area of the Vajo dei Falconi. With a slight ascent, we will return to the village.
