Il sentiero degli Olivi

This is an ideal trail for hiking, cycling tourism, and horseback riding, combining outdoor activities and exploration of the territory.

The route, approximately 9 km long and of intermediate difficulty, alternates between paved and unpaved sections, with moderate climbs leading to scenic viewpoints overlooking the valley.

After departing from the Musical Garden, the trail ascends towards Poggio Belvedere, the first panoramic point from which one can see Val d’Illasi (Illasi valley) and the historic center of Illasi. Continuing on, one reaches the small church of San Marco and the area of the Trabucchi winery, then proceeds through olive groves and vineyards to the Sanctuary of San Colombano. The route partly follows the ridge of the hills, allowing for simultaneous views of both valleys of Illasi and Tramigna, with continuous glimpses of the agricultural landscape and the surrounding hills. The return trip passes through historic rural areas, among orchards, courtyards, and ancient paths until returning to the starting point.
