From Brognoligo, the houses gradually give way to vineyards. After the Church of Santo Stefano and the Lourdes Grotto, one enters the area of Monte Castellaro, an ancient volcanic cone: amid the rows, dark basalt stones appear and the Garganega grapes occupy the slopes, often trained as pergolas.
One reaches Fittà, a small settlement nestled among the vines, with the Church of San Vincenzo Ferreri. Just beyond, a short detour toward La Cuca leads to an extremely suggestive viewpoint, from which the valley can be seen from above.
The path then enters the area of Foscarino, one of the Additional Geographical Units of Soave: Foscarinetto, Boccara, and Monte Foscarino form a system of volcanic hills, and here the name Vigneti Alti becomes the exact description of the place being traversed.
The Chapel of Sant'Antonio introduces the return. In the area of Corte del Durlo, the slopes become more pronounced, then the loop grazes Monte Grande and descends back to Brognoligo.
