The path of the three Valleys unfolds around the village of Tregnago, a town in the upper Val d'Illasi at the foot of the Eastern Lessinia, rich in history, religious archaeology, and traditions.
A rise and fall between woods, churches, fortresses, and castles, climbing to a maximum altitude of 780 m above sea level and crossing a network of paths and mule tracks, then descending towards the municipalities of Illasi and Cazzano di Tramigna, amidst manor houses and ancient courtyards, surrounded by cherry trees, vineyards, and olive groves, and finally ascending to brush the slopes of the western side of Valle di Mezzane.
The view rewards the tolerable effort: to the north the Piccole Dolomiti-Monti Lessini and to the south the lush Veronese plain.
The surroundings of Tregnago are worth a visit for the presence of castles in Tregnago and Illasi, for the washhouses of Macermigo and Cogollo, and for the numerous churches and tabernacles, among which the Ancient Pieve of Calavena (Chiesa della Disciplina) and the villas dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries.
