A Caldiero tra terme e campagna

At the foot of the Veronese hills of Val d'Illasi and on the left bank of the Adige lies Caldiero (Calidarium is the original name of the town), a place known since Roman times for the pursuit of well-being, thanks to the presence of therapeutic hot springs. In Caldiero, in a suggestive natural environment, you will find the Terme di Giunone, a water park surrounded by magnificent centuries-old trees.

From here, a flat path winds through the vineyards, a loop that will allow us to discover the relationship between the city and the countryside, through green landscapes, small churches, the column of Saint Anthony, and meetings with the local population that loves to stroll in that environment.

The itinerary passes by Monte Rocca, a public park characterized by a large portal where perhaps a small temple dedicated to the goddess Juno once stood.
