Associazione Musicale Ecclesia Nova

Corale Ecclesia Nova was founded in October 2000 in Bosco Chiesanuova by Maestro Matteo Valbusa. The name of the choir is that by which the parish of Chiesanuova has been mentioned in official ecclesiastical records, in Latin, since its founding in the 14th century. The group studies and performs sacred and secular choral compositions of the Western tradition, from medieval music to contemporary pieces, either a cappella or with instrument accompaniment. Since its inception, the choir has performed in numerous concerts both in Italy and abroad and collaborates in the organization of many musical events with public and private entities. Since 2005, it has been constituted as a Musical Association, whose aim is to promote and spread musical culture. Of particular importance among the events of the Lessinia is “Voce!” – Festival of Choral Music, an event that takes place in the summer in the municipality of Bosco Chiesanuova and attracts hundreds of people every year.
