The cultivation of vines, both pergola and guyot, allows the grapes, mostly Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave, along with Corvina and Rondinella, to best express their potential.
The white grape variety is enhanced by the basaltic and volcanic soil typical of the Soave area, while in Campiano, at 450 m above sea level and on stony limestone soil, the Corvina expresses great freshness and minerality.
The selection of grape clusters is done meticulously, and only the best ones are designated for the production of the company's most representative wines, such as Amarone and Soave Superiore or Recioto di Soave!
With a constant focus on improving viticultural techniques, the Magnabosco family aims to ensure wines that are representative of the territory, culture, and tradition of Soave.
The architecture of the winery, with arches and terracotta bricks, recalls the rural style of agricultural villages and testifies to the bond, with an ancient flavor, that the company has forged between its wines and the history of these hills, which inspired the poetry of Dante and other greats of Italian literature. It is in this context that in 2006 the Agriturismo Montetondo was established, to provide accommodation for guests who wish to explore the area and have a functional, comfortable, and quiet base.
Twenty-five hectares of vineyards in Soave, clinging to the best plots of land that the Soave region can boast: Monte Tenda, Monte Foscarino, and Monte Tondo, from which the company takes its name, ensure the production of a wine with an intense aroma, a variably floral and fruity bouquet, and an unmistakable taste that is hard to forget.
Another fifteen hectares in Valpolicella between Campo Grande and Campiano, which make the Corvina so unique that it is comparable to the great French Grand Cru.
It is among these hills that the owner of the company, Gino Magnabosco, and his family have passionately carried forward since 1980 the tradition that has been handed down to them. Like skilled artisans, they meticulously follow all stages of production, from the vineyards to bottling, and are attentive interpreters of the improvements in viticultural techniques, so as to always guarantee quality wines that represent the territory in which they are found.
