Balestri Valda is the story of a great passion that has managed to transform a beautiful and important profession like that of a winemaker into a kind of pride, a deep feeling of doing well.

The vineyards and olive groves are cultivated according to the principles of organic viticulture; every agronomic practice aims to be an expression of deep respect for nature and harmony with the ecosystem. For this reason, the company has enthusiastically embarked on beekeeping, and our happy bees testify that the protection of biodiversity is both necessary and possible.

These lands have been dedicated to vine cultivation for centuries. All the vineyards are located on hills, in the heart of the classic production area, where the soils are rich and dark, of volcanic origin. Certainly, the processing becomes more laborious, but here the climate is mild, generous, and the south-facing exposure allows for a proper accumulation of sugars thanks to abundant solar radiation.
