Located within the charming Villa Balladoro in Povegliano Veronese, and originating from the abandoned Villa di Novaglie, the historical library consists of 26 shelves of various sizes, partly original and partly faithful copies of the original. The book collection consists of 10,728 texts of various natures (folklore, literature, narrative, etc.), among which stands out the only known copy of the "Statute of Verona" under the dominion of Venice, the "Statute of Villafranca di Verona," and many texts relating to dialects. The Balladoro Archive, as it presents itself today, is composed in this way:
- the part that was previously located in the State Archive, which includes 74 envelopes and 149 registers divided into two large sections: real estate and commercial activities. The latter section includes the 30 volumes of the "Balladoro company." This part returned to Povegliano in 1986 as a donation from Baron Malfatti in line with the municipality's project to reunite everything;
- the part of the books in the literary field and of various natures, stemming from purchases made by Arrigo Balladoro, which was donated to the municipality by Baron Francesco, the sole heir of the family, as well as the current owner of the private part of the villa, always with the intention of seeing all the documentation reunited.
