Museum set up under the direction of artist Andrea Ciresola and also accessible virtually.
The arrangement of the house museum is a testament to the work of evangelization and human promotion of the Franciscan born in contrada Bernardi, the seventh of 10 children, who was a missionary in the African country considered the father of the nation from 1955 until his death in 1999, as well as the most noble figure of Catholicism in that young Church.
The most precious artifact, a black-painted wooden cross about thirty centimeters high, was placed by the Bishop of Bissau, Mons. José Câmnate na Bissign, in the case of the tree of life, on the ground floor of the birthplace of Mons. Settimio Arturo Ferrazzetta, the first bishop of Guinea-Bissau.
The crucifix brought by the bishop to the museum was the one to which the mother of little Arturo had entrusted when her son became seriously ill, and it had always been kept by relatives as a precious and miraculous relic.
