In 1870 in Cazzano di Tramigna, not far from Soave, Antonio Bennati is born. At a very young age he starts producing wine and sells it in the famous straw-covered flasks. But it is in 1920, just after the Great War, that the decision to establish the Bennati Wineries together with his son Annibale takes shape.

Today Bennati Winery continues its century-long journey of growth; the fourth generation, consisting of brothers Giorgio and Paolo and cousin Claudio, pays homage to Valtramigna with a valorization project that involves the limited production of superior quality wines which, through their fragrances and aromas, tell the story of this land and its history.
