The first church dedicated to Saints Zenon and Urban was built in late Romanesque style in the second half of the 15th century at the foot of Mount Fratta, in a different position from the current one. It was consecrated in 1494 and in 1525 it was established as a rectory.
In the 19th century, the church became insufficient to accommodate the population due to a demographic increase, and it was necessary to enlarge it. The new church, in neoclassical style, was built using materials salvaged from the old demolished one. The work began in 1863 and was completed the following year.
The building has a single nave, with four side altars. The emerging apse is semicircular in shape.
Along the sides of the nave, four emerging semi-chapels open up, two on each side, hosting as many smaller altars placed on a raised step: the altars of St. Anthony and the Madonna on the western side, and the altars of St. Joseph and the Sacred Heart on the opposite side. On the right side of the presbytery is the weekday chapel, communicating with the apse area, and it is accessible both from the nave and from the outside through a vestibule entrance.
The external façade, facing southwest, is characterized by two pairs of Corinthian semi-columns framing the local stone portal surmounted by a tympanum supported by two molded corbels. The preservation conditions are good.
The bell tower is positioned in front of the western side of the church. On either side of the portal, inserted between the pairs of semi-columns, two niches house the statues of the patron saints. The tympanum, decorated with a sawtooth frame, features a small stone rose window in the center. At the summit apex, there is a metal cross, while on the lateral sides, two small urns.
